“OMICS” Technologies for Predictive Modeling of
Infectious Diseases (U19)
Purpose: The purpose of this FOA is
to develop and validate predictive models of infectious disease initiation,
progression and outcomes. These models will be derived from the study of the
architecture and dynamics of systems-wide host/pathogen molecular interaction
networks during infection, using integrated datasets generated from a
combination of “OMICS” technologies.
Budget: $US13 million in 2013 for 4 awards. The $ value of each award is not fixed, and will reflect the actual
project scope, duration, and justified costs.
